Al Mouyasser – Healthcare is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Baghdad.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, supporting financial planning activities, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring timely completion of accounting and finance processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Oversee general ledger, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance analysis.
- Review accounting transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain strong internal controls and identify accounting discrepancies or process gaps.
- Support and supervise the accounting team to ensure timely completion of financial activities.
- Coordinate effectively with different departments and external parties.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the finance field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Advanced Excel.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
