The IT Infrastructure Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting Al-Mouyasser’s IT infrastructure across the Erbil branch. The role ensures system stability, network availability, data security, and smooth daily IT operations. This position is key to ensuring high-quality internal technical support and maintaining business continuity
Responsibilities
- 1-Systems & Server Administration
- Manage Windows and Linux environments (installation, configuration, updates).
- Maintain user accounts, groups, and permissions through Active Directory.
- Handle backups, restore operations, and system updates.
- 2. Network Administration
- Manage and troubleshoot IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
- Support firewall rules, network segmentation, and security controls.
- 3. Virtualization
- Manage and support virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Perform VM creation, snapshot management, and resource optimization.
- 4. Hardware & Software Support
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues (PCs, laptops, servers).
- Install, update, and manage Microsoft and business applications.
- Ensure proper asset configuration and documentation.
- 5. Security & Monitoring
- Monitor infrastructure logs, detect anomalies, and ensure data protection.
- Apply security best practices, patching, and access control.
- Support IT Manager in disaster recovery and business continuity tasks.
- 6. Scripting & Automation
- Create simple scripts using PowerShell or Bash to automate routine tasks.
