The Trade Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all trade-related activities and managing a team of up to 6 Merchandisers across Baghdad and the provinces (excluding the North). The role requires a sales and distribution professional with solid knowledge of retail and wholesale operations. The position focuses on driving product availability, managing trade activities, and building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Merchandising team in Baghdad and the provinces (except the North).
- Negotiate Business Development Agreements with key customers, including terms such as shelf space, display placements, POSM (Point of Sale Materials), engagement activities, and pricing propositions.
- Implement trade activities and ensure execution excellence in assigned territories.
- Guarantee continuous product availability across retail outlets, pharmacies, and hospitals.
- Coordinate with distributors to maintain consistent availability of all SKUs at points of sale.
- Monitor and report competitor activities in the market.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Distributors to achieve monthly financial and marketing targets.
- Manage Tier 2 Department of Health (DOH) relations.
- Evaluate and enhance customer and consumer experience across multiple channels.
Must Have
- Minimum of 5 years’ sales and distribution experience in consumer products.
- Previous experience in large multinational organizations is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of distribution dynamics, distributor management, trade marketing, and key account management.
Nice to have
- Experience Previous experience working for large multinationals.
- Experience in managing Tier 2 Department of Health (DOH) accounts.
- Strong background in negotiating business development agreements covering shelf space, display placements, POSM, and pricing propositions.
